I was hired in May of 2017 as a picker. My job duties were to drive an electric pallet jack to pick customers orders wile building the product safely onto the pallets, then the pallets would staged on the loading dock next to the assigned doors. I worked in the freezer VNA ( special orders) working on the order picker machine at heights up to 60ft up. When I moved over to become a loader I would collect the special order products and add them to the assigned pallets. Then the pallets would be loaded into the truck according to the map assigned from the operation center. I also worked a short time in the op center helping with preparing the orders for the pickers. I prepared the trailer maps for the loaders to put the pallets in the order of the delivery route.also loaded and cleaned all of the label making machines, printers and copy machines.input all the information into the system, what orders have been picked and by who, correct any errors that may pop up in orders from the picker. Monitor the loaders are putting the pallets in the trailer according to the maps provided in a timely fashion to keep with the delivery schedules. I left Gordon's in October of 2021

Hired May 2, 2013 as a seasonal part time garden associate. That fall i was offered to stay on as a part time merchandise associate, after a wile I was offered a raise to become a full-time flooring associate. I left my second job where I was working full time job to accept the new position,With this title I helped any In store customers with any floor related info they needed, product knowledge, quotes, sales, setting up in home measurement and or install services. After a wile I became the window treatment specialist (wile continuing as a flooring associate) with this I handled all window treatment orders in store and with the vendors. I was responsible for any repairs needed to sold products, any custom cuts of in stock products, also any at home services, I created any custom vendor quotes and orders. I was asked to take a newly created position company wide called order fulfillment associate. In this position myself 1 other full time and 2 part time associates were responsible for any order placed for my store to fulfill. All online, in store and phone orders along with preparing all in store products for installs. We worked at both the customer service and contractor service desks. We built and sold quotes pulled and staged orders for pick up or delivery. I enjoyed this position very much until the the instore scheduling issues carried into the busy season when taking this job the main selling point was a set schedule mon-fri 7am-4pm an ideal week. I was moved to a random schedule different days and hours a few months in and I was ok with that except I only had maybe 1/4 the time needed to deal with the contractors, vendors, and the 3 trucking companies dispatch offices that we needed to communicate with on a daily basis. After the busy season started we lost a part time associate making us spread even thinner as the hours needed increased we were promised more help that we never got. My last day was February 8,2017
