I am writing to you today expressing my interest in the nursing position in your health facility. I am thrilled to see that the role perfectly suits my education and skill- set and I am confident that I can rise to the challenge. The opportunity to care for and assist in patient care in your facility is an exciting prospect that I feel qualified for and fully able to undertake. Please allow me to explain briefly a few of the reason why I believe that I could contribute to the quality and standards of healthcare at your facility. I graduated with a diploma in nursing in 2006 from FIJI School of Nursing and currently on my 15th year working as a registered nurse here in Fiji. I attained my Bachelor Nursing in March 2020 from the University of Fiji. During that time I have worked in few health facilities and have developed the skills to deliver impeccable health care and service to patients. I am currently working in Emergency Department, Navua Hospital, Fiji since 2016 after serving other facilities. I have experience in public health nursing as I have served in remote health facilities before joining my current station, with this experience it has allowed me to be able to work in hospital and public health settings. I am also able to build on my knowledge and competency on nursing through hands on nursing duties, past experiences,and various courses like the Pediatric life support course, Integrated Management of Childhood Illness, the Serious Illness In Remote Environment course, Advanced Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation course. I have attended a 3 months medical professional training in China in 2018 focusing on Emergency nursing and the care of the critically ill.

I have also gained knowledge and skills in COVID nursing. I have experience in Covid nursing in my current facility, as I lead nurses in the Covid isolation facility since 2020. I firmly believe that I will bring the energy and dedication necessary to thrive in any hospital environment. As noted in my resume that I am capable to fill the position as I have gained and also showed my abilities in the past health facilities I have served. Additionally I possess excellent communication skills, leadership, and team player and be able to handle multiple task simultaneously.
