Job Highlights: I designed templates and database spreadsheets for various school related financial matters. My responsibilities included handling all inquiries related to accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Implementation of accurate accounting system (QuickBooks/Oracle Enterprise) for the school operating accounts and school-based management accounts. Additionally, I was instrumental in the training process for all student aides’ this included the proper usage of all office equipment (telephone systems, copiers, and fax machines). I was the only authorized user of Oracle Enterprise which was used to prepare purchase orders and disbursement authorities for all disciplines. I prepared all financial reports for the Principals review and delivered these reports to the Chief Educational Administrator, and Board of Education Auditors.
Composed letters and correspondence related to all financial matters to vendors, parents, staff members and board administrators. Completed budget analysis and payroll for Frederick Douglass High school staff member. Coordinated and provided coverage for all school departments in absence of head secretary.
