Practice Assistant to 4 lawyers primarily in the Products, Environmental & Mass Tort (“PEMT”) Litigation Dept. Legal Secretary to 2 lawyers (Associates) and a busy Partner, T. Walker, for 18 years (1998-2016) in the PEMT Litigation Dept. T. Walker was the Firm’s PEMT Litigation Department Chair, Deputy Managing Partner for the Litigation Depts., and before my change from this PA position he became the Firm’s Managing Partner.

• Opened and closed files and other general administrative tasks such as sorting and delivering mail, copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.

• Diligently revised and proofread diverse types of documents including pleadings, correspondence, and transcribing from dictation.

• Implemented Cisco WebEx Productivity Tool in Outlook for meeting invitations and appointments to circulate emails to both internal and external individuals.

• Assist legal assistants/paralegals with projects such as court e-filings, organizing document production during discovery and trial preparations.

• Maintained assigned attorney’s calendar with respect to court dates, client appointments and depositions.

• Entered attorney timesheets daily and confirm drafting of billing invoices completion in coordination with Billing Specialists executing on business plans.

• Scheduled court reporters for depositions, often making the arrangements for the deposition location and working in partnership with the paralegal to ensure transparency and accuracy.
