SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Dan Novais is a seasoned Senior Executive whose main goals are generating results through team leadership in complex organizations. He possesses a strong background in sales expanded work field to operations, service, corporate management, and finance administration. His present position, as COO & Senior Vice President for the Americas Region, he took over the position, on October 2018, with the main goal of marking the “full turnaround” of the region. Among his many priorities, his many goals were the creation of a very detailed strategic plan to be presented and approved by the board, which happened in January 2019. At this stage, he is on “Execution Mode” of the plan, thru the hiring, training, and developing of professionals to be high performers delivering high performing results. We have already seen results, and the North American Region, has already reached their budget numbers, with an outlook of overachieving it.

On his previous position, as Vice President for Softline International, and previously, he's led the team to conduct a successful M&A Acquisition resulting in the new company in Brazil to jump from 27th place to 2nd largest place for Softline International Operations, just behind the Russian Market His main strengths are having a wide experience in generating value, managing P&L and conducting the turnaround of low-performance Business Units in the organization, including financial, regulatory, legal and labor issues.

Dan Novais has a strong commercial background, proven experience in a high-performance team building and leadership, sales management, customer prospection/retention, new-market development, and channel architecture;

He's developed a deep understanding in North American Markets (USA & Canada) and Emerging Markets including Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia; aligned with strategic thinking skills in delegating tasks, monitoring solutions. Dan Novais is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, His professional experience is backed up by a bachelor’s Science Degree from UNIP University in Sao Paulo, Brazil, an MBA from the University of Toronto in Canada in International Business Management with a focus on M&A acquisition processes and lately, a Board Member Certificate Diploma, from IBGC – Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance. He is also working and studying at this point, to participate soon, for a Series 7 certification license, to act as Financial Advisor for Corporations and Individuals, in the United States, with expected graduation to happen in 2022.
