JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.
Analyses and interprets sample data.
Installs and positions new or replacement parts, components, and instruments.
Estimates and records operational data.
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
Coordinate with the customer, Authority representative and Site En-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including closure of Non- Compliance Report
Report to the QA/QC Manager, control and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS
Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI
Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project
Carry out Internal Audit at site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP
Consolidate all the as-built deliverables for packages handover.
Site Inspection and co-ordination of complete MEP Works.
Material Approval as per Specification.
Having regular meeting with Client and Contractors for smooth running of the Project.
Being the responsible Mechanical Engineer and reporting to the PM.
Oversee a junior mechanical engineer and a mechanical inspector
Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, quality and the like.
Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works.
Review Contractor’s installation method statements.
Review Contractor’s mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the Project Manager on the appropriateness of the proposals.
