Mobile Open MRI, Mobile, Al 251-***-****, hired as patient accounts representative, which included billing, posting payments, and follow-up on accounts, also worked front desk and helped do payroll and accounts payable
2002 - 2003
Mobile Infirmary DME, No longer doing business, was thru Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, handled patient accounts for durable medical equipment, billed medical insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. Posted payments, and followed up on accounts. 1979 - 2002
Fresenius Medical, Dialysis, worked in the billing office in Mobile, Al., now closed, work my way up from patient accounts to office manager. Managed anywhere from 8 to 14 facilities at any one time with 8 to 10 patient account clerks under me. Kept our days turn around always good, and always knew where the problems where. Also did all the ordering of supplies. Did posting, follow up, billing, and all office procedures when employed with Fresenius. Left to take care of my mother, then my sister stepped in to help, leaving me free to find employment again.
1977 - 1979
Providence Hospital, Admitting, then to the business office. Did the commercial billing in the business office. Then went to Providence Dialysis which was eventually sold out to Fresenius.
1974 - 1977
Delta Portables, Office Manager, Handled accounts receivable and payable. Ordered all supplies. Did the payroll. Billed the monthly accounts. Set up pickup and delivery of portable toilets and put them on schedules, and made the schedules for the drivers. 1984 - 2002
H & R Block, Prepared Tax Returns during tax season. Part time job during tax season. from January thru April.
