To Person/s evaluating and examining any possible work related security qualifications:
It has come to my attention, that in all of my experience: Eight years with WOOSTER High School for Washoe County, seven plus years in Hardware and retail and five years in the capacity of a clerk for 7-11, thee years as an EMT for Lyon County and Five with their Volunteer Fire department; I have continually practiced and implemented and followed through with definitive procedures relative to good security. I have had to develop good rapport with customers// I have had and still do recognize the value of good concise and clear communication. I have had to learn the radio response codes and have taught myself to observe and address situations requiring calm and clear thinking in not only my driving experiences, but in day to day routine. I have had to consistently Lock up and Secure vehicle and buildings using alarm codes and carrying a good flashlight. I still go to the gym and I practice the same skills I began with my martial arts lessons from the Western Nevada Community College classes for three seasons. I own and carry several good firearms and am procuring a CCW with a 9mm. In short I have always thought I would be a very good security officer by nature of the work itself. Terry Bill Engel
