Provide project leadership support to this computer hardware manufacturer to validate and ensure architectural and deployment teams are in sync with six (6) business partners regarding development and deployment of a Cyber Recovery (CR) solution. Initiated the planning and design phases to include assessment of mission-critical systems and applications, current infrastructure, cyberattack recovery time and recovery objectives. Provided a draft of a cyber incident response plan, i.e., performing forensics and damage assessment and preparing the recovery.

Program Manager – 2016 - 2017 (Oct - Jan)

Led a new hospital budgeting and planning initiative to ensure essential IT equipment and supporting infrastructure will be in place and operational for the move from old to new hospital. Worked closely with department heads and software/hardware vendors to meet application, business, and budget targets. Directed two major IT infrastructure initiatives: Upgrade Internet Explorer from end-of-life versions to IE11 for all platforms (Windows, XenApp, XenDesk) users in North America and Asia Pacific of which 650+ applications were migrated. Transported North America user data to a new Active Directory (AD) Organizational Unit (OU); duplicated company relevant metadata into a common data repository and migrated all South American users to the same AD OU to facilitate single sign-on, etc. Conducted daily standups with team members and met bi-weekly with global program leaders to discuss program status, risks, and issues. Led implementation of a redundant Network Management System (NMS) with equipment in two (2) data centers located in OKC and Tulsa to support a Network Operations Center (NOC) in OKC. Worked closely with vendor partners (VMWare, Mosiac451) to ensure the resultant NMS and NOC were designed to manage communications equipment and data networks across five (5) areas in multiple states and provide analysis and referral of gathering, network, and facility related issues to appropriate maintenance and repair crews. Led several infrastructure initiatives associated with expanding the Global Enterprise Solutions infrastructure within the Enterprise Risk Management business unit - Global Risk Aggregation, Probable Maximum Liability (Catastrophe Modeling), and Igloo associated application migrations/expansion. The overall effort included new VMware (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter) implementations and SAN buildouts.

Delivered large infrastructure initiatives: Wireless Network Security - Deployed network controllers and access points across the globe in support of single global SSID which provides for network access authentication to the device (laptop, wireless printer, handheld, etc.) level. SAN Storage Consolidation – Migrated data residing on older CLARiiON storage arrays to newer and faster EMC VMAX storage arrays for 135 host Database, Citrix, and application servers: North America. Upgrade Cisco Unified Communications Manager IP Telephone System – Upgraded four (4) Cisco Call Manager Clusters from version 7.1.5 to 9.1.x globally (Asia Pacific, N. America, Europe, Middle East. Replaced Cisco Attendant Console solution with the Fidelus Attendant Console solution. Significant Vendor Management. Installation of Packaged Cisco Contact Center Enterprise: - Installation allows voice calls to be queued and routed to up to 1000 agents based on caller input, database/account information and agent skills (North America). Led teams responsible for applications that assist customers with hydrocarbons location, geological data management, drilling and formation evaluation, well construction and completion, and production optimization throughout the life of their assets. Project Manager – 2010 – 2012 (Jan – Mar)

Managed multiple infrastructure initiatives including transition services agreement for the following: Exit Americas, Latin America, Europe, and Japan networks in support of the ALICO divestiture (28 sites); migration of all messaging services from AIG to the acquiring company; project to provide network connectivity between AIG and two third party sites to facilitate primary and backup needs; project to define requirements and assess ERP vendor software offerings; project to build out a new SAN frame and validate UNIX based servers across two geographical locations (in support of Disaster Recovery) which brought critical application environments in line with corporate governance standards.

Horizon Wind Energy – Houston TX

Project Manager – 2009 – 2010 (Jan – Jan)

Led a software implementation project to provide the capability for all company management personnel to review and approve the employee compensation process (TalentManager). Completed a large-scale initiative to identify, qualify, and select an out-of-area collocation vendor to relocate the corporate data center from Houston Texas to the selected site. The facility chosen was a SAS 70 Type II data center which accommodates the requirement for Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) in support of the remote operations center (ROC). Multiple VMware implementations (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) with significant Vendor interaction and management. The ROC is fed data from multiple wind farms across the US and the mass of information collected allows the remote operations team to keep a close eye on critical and variable factors, such as turbine availability, power generation capacity, market pricing and wind speed.
