As a project manager / mechanical engineer for Albemarle at its Magnolia Chemical bromine plant, I am responsible for many plant systems as well as the brine field equipment procurement and improvement projects. My responsibilities include the down hole pumping equipment in the brine field supply and injection wells. My projects involve up to 1200 HP pumps, motors, piping, electrical service and instrumentation of both down-hole equipment up to 10,000 feet in depth and above ground systems at the well sites.
My chemical plant projects include specialized chemical resistant equipment and piping systems installed in various highly corrosive processes. FRP and lined piping systems are common including titanium and tantalum pumps, heat exchangers, and vessels. I use SAP implement and manage projects. My projects in the plant and brine field account for approximately $ 7 million in capital expenditures per year.

Perform the installation and retrofit of commercial metal buildings and structures in Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas. The buildings and structures range form power plant installations over 100 feet in height to strip malls and gymnasiums. Operated various types of heavy equipment to assists in installation. Used building manufacture’s stamped drawings to assure installation is in accordance with engineering guidelines.
