Management

·Currently work as Social Work Supervisor as well as maintain an office of ten employees with various state agency programs. Provide guidance and mentorship as well as supervise case management decisions to an average of 100 on going clients. These duties also include office management to assure proper office coverage is available to the public. Develop and lead staff meetings via Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Review and approve leave and timesheets, schedule for office coverage. Assist the public with resources to assure their safety and well-being. Member of interview panel and candidate selection for vacant state job positions. Assist with onboarding new employees, which consists of new hire paperwork, new hire training, and employment evaluations.

Communication

·The past 14 years of my career has involved communication on a multitude of avenues. Ongoing case management to vulnerable populations within 5 counties of Nevada. Also conducted elder protective service investigations. Case management includes phone and in person communication with clients and their support systems. Also, regular communication with providers to establish and maintain services to clients. This also has included communication during court hearings, law enforcement reports and leadership meetings with the deputies of Aging and Disability Services. I have extensive communication skills in times of crisis and with mitigation between conflict with clients and coworkers in an office environment as well as in the homes of clients. Leadership

·My current title is Social Work Supervisor which includes many aspects of leadership. I am the only on-site member of the management team for the Rural Aging and Disability Services Division. I provide direct supervision to four team members as well as act as mentor to the other staff members in the office. I am safety coordinator for the office location and handle day to day office management tasks.
