Dialysis Charge Nurse/Facility Anemia and Infection Control Manager- March 2020-Present

Oversee dialysis technicians and monitor patients throughout treatment

Responsible for proper functioning of dialysis equipment/dialysate testing for proper concentration and safe use for patients

Cannulate arteriovenous fistulas, cannulate grafts, and access central venous catheter ports for dialysis and draw laboratory results from dialysis accesses.

Prepare/administer medications for dialysis

Perform nursing assessments for all patients before and after dialysis treatment

Collaborate and round with physicians, dieticians, and social workers

Educate patients and families regarding dialysis theory and treatment regimen
