2020 – Present Vulnerability and Asset Mgmt. Specialist LoanCare, LLC
Currently serves as the Desktop Vulnerability and Asset Management Specialist in addition to performing the duties of Tier II Desktop Support for the LoanCare organization.
Performs the scheduling, coordination, research, and remediation of the existing desktop vulnerabilities for over 2,200 endpoints in the organization while participating in technology related projects and other system implementations.
Responsible for the overall accountability, disposal and issuance of all IT related hardware that is issued to existing LoanCare employees while participating in daily maintenance activities that are geared toward ensuring the health and availability of the infrastructure equipment.
2019 – 2020 Fiserv System Administrator (Contract) Remedy Staffing
Sub-contracted by Endurance-IT to serve as the Fiserv System Administrator for ABNB Federal Credit Union during the conversion of their core banking system from DataSafe to DNA.
Displayed a proven ability to consult management, perform system maintenance, and conduct escalation support for the critical line of business applications and associated integrations for the core conversion.
Created thorough documentation and conducted training that supported the newly implemented application, its hardware, and third-party features.
2016 – 2019 Senior Information Security Analyst TowneBank
Improved the overall security posture of the organization through the creation and implementation of security-based policies and metrics that effectively removed 92% of all detected vulnerabilities impacting the TowneBank business process.
Managed and completed multiple large-scale projects ahead of schedule and under-budget that include the following:
The planning, development, testing, and execution of vulnerability and configuration audit scans for TowneBank’s IT backbone equipment, servers and endpoints while utilizing supported vulnerability management products from Tenable.
Lead and coordinated a project that was responsible for the removal and replacement of the organization’s existing endpoint security solution. Successfully replacing the current solution with the McAfee ePO server.
Performed the configuration, testing, and deployment of McAfee’s supported products to over 3,500 endpoints, in addition to implementing new security features such as DLP, Endpoint Encryption and SIEM features that further strengthened the security posture while saving the organization approximately $220K annually.
Reduced information security endpoint incidents by an average of 82% (YoY) during a 3-year timeframe by fostering security-focused tools and implementing related security training programs.
2010- 2016 Information Security and IT Help Desk Manager Monarch Bank

Led a $12M installation project for the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Heart Center Expansion for two of their sites. Duties involved the design, coordination, and installation of the network hardware in addition to the network hardware configuration and testing.
Led the St. Brides Correctional Facility Camera Installation Project. Duties included the installation of a new CCTV security system that was composed of 32 monitoring cameras and 7 high-definition monitors, while managing three subordinate technicians on-site.
1995 - 2004 Circuit Control Team Chief United States Army
Served as the Regional VTC coordinator for NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Power European (SHAPE) Commander. Responsibilities included the scheduling, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of the command’s video teleconferencing system.
Supervised tactical data teams that supported secure video, voice, and data communications in a forward deployed tactical Echelon Above Corps (EAC) Signal Brigade.
