Responsibilities: plan, direct and control maintenance for all technical service responsibilities to maintain plant availability at Holtsville and Brentwood plants. Principal Accountabilities: support and provide technical assistance/supervision to Gas Turbine Technicians, develop engineering specifications, purchase and install equipment, develop outside labor specifications for major equipment outages and inspections, train and develop tech services personnel, prepare department budgets, interface with PSEGLI for plant interconnect and interview and recommend new personnel. 2016 to present

2001 to present – Worked as plant operator at Brentwood plant in addition to my normal work duties. Have worked at Holtsville Plant, as plant operator, as well when operations staff was short on personnel.

1995 – Hired as Gas Turbine Technician, working on Siemens V84.2 Gas Turbine and Mitsubishi/Westinghouse Steam Turbine built by Turbo Power and Marine. Specific duties include: Calibrate and troubleshoot plant instrumentation, calibrate and troubleshoot relay protection schemes, troubleshoot and correct plant DCS hardware and software problems, troubleshoot and maintain LAN and WAN equipment, perform routine chemical testing and calibration of chemistry instrumentation, perform vibration analysis on rotating equipment and recommend corrective action and maintain CEMS compliance with environmental permit.

(Designer and manufacturer of custom control and power systems) Recruited from college.

1991 – Promoted to Project Engineer. Completely responsible for all phases of assigned Projects from concept to completion. Designed numerous control systems and circuits utilizing state of the art automation techniques and devices, also became more heavily involved in the mechanical design and layouts of each project. Developed custom PLC and operator interface programs from customer specifications. Provided field service and startup assistance. Worked closely with electrical and mechanical contractors to insure the systems were correctly and safely installed and to eliminate any field wiring errors.
