Position: Safety Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that new employees undertake HSE training to ensure complete knowledge of all elements and aspects of HSE procedures.

Monitor all job activities at the site to ensure safety compliance.

Ensure that all workers have the required PPE in the plant area

Periodic check of fire extinguishers and alarm systems.

Prepare and submit daily safety reports and inspection reports

Maintaining records of PTW’s to be available for auditing as required by company standards.

Verify to confirm that all lifting equipments operators are certified

Inspection work on site daily for any unsafe condition and initiate for immediate corrective action, refer more complex issues to senior HSE personnel.

Assist in conducting monthly evacuation drills in the particular groups in order to keep them updated and to ensure they have proper knowledge regarding HSE procedure
