I graduated from high school in 1986 and was hired as a receptionist. In three months, the company I worked for was sold to TRI County Gas in New York City. I was given the opportunity for a more hands on approach after that and quickly rose in the company. At the time the company was broke down and sold store by store for profits, I was basically running all 23 stores in the state of Georgia and was very successful at it. At that point, I decided to have children and did. I continued to work for a couple or more years. I and my husband then decided that it was in our children's best interest to have a stay at home parent in which I am thankful we did. My youngest twins are 17 now. Tragically, my husband was killed in an automobile accident recently and I have found myself returning to the workforce and I am having a difficult time doing so due to the lapse in my resume. Regardless of the fact that I am up to date on all current computer programs. But I will continue to try. I don't accept failure. If given the chance, I know any company will be lucky to have me and I will find that company. I'm hoping it's your company but nonetheless I will continue. Thank you. Fast learner
