AS a direct support professional with my lengthy experiences working with individuals with disabilities having such as patience and understanding compassion Adaptability.Reliability and attentiveness.Asa direct support professional my responsibility is to provide direct daily care to individual with intellectual developmental disabilities such as performing personal care including assistance with basic personal hygiene grooming,shaving dressing..Assisting in organizing consumers closest drawers etc.Assisting in getting them ready to go to adult programs. Preparing meals that meet specific consumers dietary needs.Driving and transporting to the community's and the adults day program or work place.Trips for food shopping,clothes shopping, with the consumers. Assistance with eating Assisting in bathing and dental care.Ensure the safety of the consumers at all times.
