Work as a Coach/Mentor for Substitute Teachers for Kelly Services and Orange County Public Schools

Worked as a front desk checking guests in and out of the resort. Completed daily paperwork for resort daily audits. Serviced guest requests, give information, directions, and assistance.

I served as Principal of C H Barrows STEM Academy which is a K-8 STEM Magnet Academy with 560 students.

I served as the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services for Hernando County Schools which has a student population of 21,000 students.

I served as the Principal of St Lucie West Centennial High School which was a comprehensive high school with 2600 students.

Lincoln Park Academy had 1840 students in grades 6-12 and housed the gifted magnet program, supported the Middle Years International Baccalaureate Programme and the High School International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. While there we built a new middle school and joint use building on campus.

I served as an Area Assistant Superintendent of Schools/Principal for secondary education for the past three years and due to district budget cuts now serve as a Principal. 2008-2011

I served as the Executive Director of Schools and supervised the six high schools and three middle schools during my first year in St Lucie County Schools. 2007-2008

I served as the Director of NC Wise for the school district, which includes the rollout and implementation of this student information system and the training of all school and district personnel in its use.

I was the principal of Hopewell High School, Huntersville, NC, which is a comprehensive high school with 2,258 students from 2000 to 2005, our test scores went every year for five the five years I served as principal.

As principal and superintendent presented staff in-services on teaming, reading, writing, cultural diversity, at-risk services, curriculum, and instruction issues, etc.

Served as mentor for six principal candidates and two assistant superintendent candidates.

Principal of Dr. Phillips High School, Orlando, FL., which was a comprehensive high school. The school has a Visual Performing Arts Magnet, a Center for International Studies Magnet, and had a Medical Academy and a Business Academy. The school went from a C school to an A school in the three years I served as principal.

As superintendent of South Newton School Corporation, I supervised all activities of the school corporation. I created the school budget, coordinated the district curriculum, coordinated the district transportation system, and represented the district in matters of public relations. I was the chief negotiator for the school district with the union. I was the human resources director, hearing officer, and personnel director.

While at South Newton School Corporation I built a fifteen-million-dollar elementary school and closed three elementary schools. We remodeled the high school during this same time.

While at the South Newton School Corporation and North Spencer County School Corporation I created two Middle School programs. These schools were modeled after the Carnage Middle School Concept. The program addressed the needs and interests of the middle school child including academics and athletics.

Implemented and evaluated an innovative technology program for four school districts: this included administrative computer packages, curricular technologies, the Internet, integrated learning systems for classrooms, other learning methodologies in the areas of video technology, distance learning, multi-media, and teaching/learning centers.

Directed and worked with four staffs on performance-based accreditation to meet State standards and have served on three state evaluation teams for school improvement.

Implemented an Inclusion Program for two school corporations for all areas of disabilities. The middle school inclusion program won a major state award in 1990.

South Newton School Corporation had a two-million-dollar cash balance when I was hired. When I left the district in January of 1998 the balance was three million dollars. This was out of a total district budget of ten million dollars.

Presented at ASCD conferences on New Teacher Orientation Program and K-12/University Collaboration to Support New Teachers in the School Setting.
