I am the current Executive Director of Eddy County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) with offices in Artesia and Carlsbad NM. I am seeking a full-time position to use my skills, knowledge, and desire to make a difference in a child’s life within our community while advancing the mission of the organization. I am experienced in overseeing staff, and volunteers and working with the Board of Directors to advance the mission of the organization. I have strong leadership skills to include following through on projects, participating in community events, and providing presentations. I hold confidentiality as a top value of my work ethic, I am a self-starter as well as disciplined in meeting deadlines, and working under the direction of active Board Members, with little to no supervision. I have experience working with grants and researching newly available grants. I have a strong background in finance background as well.

City corrections facility which supervised inmates – entailed serving meals, monitoring for safety, taking to court, booking people, and posting bond paperwork.
Worked with sensitive material – Triple I, personal information, charges, police reports which entailed confidentiality.
Worked with video arraignment with the courts including presenting the incarcerated person to court via zoom.
Record accurate charges for new arrestees, which involved attention to detail by reading police reports and referencing the NM Criminal Statue resource.
