SUMMARY
I am a Chartered Secretary and an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute with extensive administrative experience. As a team player, I’ve mentored several junior staff in my team to assume senior roles. I strive to adhere to strict ethical standards in my daily engagements while ensuring that these are also adhered to at an organizational level.
My administrative background, as well as skills in Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, along with Sage Pastel Accounting and HR Payroll software, have all together enabled me to carry out my duties in an effective and professional manner
EXPERIENCE
ADMINISTRATION
SERITI INSTITUTE NPC
01 September 2010 – 31 August 2020
HR & Payroll/Business Process Manager:
My HR & Contracts manager role entailed handling all personnel related administrative duties, including staff contracts, payroll, policies and procedures as well as electronic and physical filing of staff documents.
As a business process manager, I trained staff on all organizational processes, and ensured that timely and accurate reporting as well as laid down project guidelines and standards were always adhered to.
Contracts
I was responsible for all the organization’s contractual engagements with staff, service providers, consultants, office leases, and donors. When the Covid-19 pandemic brought our country to a complete lockdown forcing employees to work remotely, I was able to negotiate reduced rental rates for office leases.
Provident Fund
This was an employee benefit scheme and the role entailed registration and provision of staff information to the fund, whilst handling all related communications with brokers regarding additions, death, withdrawal, resignations as well as remittances of staff contributions.
Insurance
I handled all insurance requirements for the organization, ensuring that there were no exposures that would leave the organization vulnerable in the event of an incident. I was always able to source and obtain optimum cover at the most reasonable cost.
Company Secretary
My role was to support the board and the CEO by offering guidance on legislative and statutory matters, while performing administrative tasks such as scheduling of meetings, setting agenda, taking minutes, board resolutions, updating director changes and ensuring organizational compliance with all stipulated legislation.

Finance and Contracts officer/Senior Administrator
This was an administrative role with three interconnected portfolios, finance, contracts, and human resources. These tasks were all-encompassing from verification of invoices, payments, contract drafting, editing, disbursements to payroll processing, personnel document management and bank reconciliations up to trial balance.
PRIOR WORK HISTORY
I have worked as a Personal/Executive Assistant in both the Corporate and the Non-Profit sector. This role included shorthand and audio typing, diary and document management, travel bookings, diary management, screening of calls, in-house magazine editor, and various administrative tasks.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
I assist small non-governmental organizations with their statutory compliance and labor reporting obligations. This entails drafting of suitable organizational Constitutions, Policies and Procedures, as well as HR and other related documents. I also train their staff on governance issues, the role of the board and its duties, along with the need to always maintain accurate financial records.
