Employment- Private care giver for two families, one patient ADL’s feeding, foley, position and put in wheel chair, back to bed, wound care. Patient with Alzheimer’s. The other patient is in early stage of Alzheimer’s help with bathing, feeding, walking, medication, and company as disease progresses. Previous cares with ADL’s, Diabetics, MS, which patient have passed on. Admiral Hospice 2009-2012 Visits, Vital Signs, family and patient emotional and physical support, medication teaching and administration. IV Certify and med infusion. Doctors orders, Social worker and minister. Crisis Support, follow thru with teaching patient and family. Companion Hospice 2010-2011 Continuous care, crisis, medication administration, ADL’s, doctors’ orders and follow thru with patients needs. Emotional and physical support, mortem care, charting every 15 minutes and turn in reports to office same day. Staff meetings to create plan of care.
Cedar Sinai Medical Center worked in the ICU assist RN, administering medication, IV certify, ADL’s, charting bis computer, assist with code blues, draw blood and foleys. Med Surg with the care of 6 patients, assist with doctor’s orders and charting, Medication, wound care, record input and output. Psychiatry unit administer medication, code gray, charting and under my care of 4 patients to monitor behavior and needs. Post op patients draw blood, IV and prepare for surgeries, monitor patients after surgery and discharge when stable. Downey Community Medical Center- Med surg floor medication, IV’s, foleys, wound care glucose testing, insulin administering via doctors’ orders, round with doctors and follow in new orders, blood transfusions, admitting and discharge patients.
