Dear Ismail Abdulhafiz,

On behalf of Ambassadors for the World and in exclusive partnership GHIV Africa (our affiliate organization), I am pleased to extend to you this offer of temporary engagement as an Intern/Volunteer, on secondment to the Finance/Administration/Logistics Departments for the 2022 Cohort I internship and volunteering programme.

The program will begin with an orientation course last week of July, 2022. You may also be required to take some elective courses in humanitarian leadership and any other relevant course to develop your soft skills in the course of the program.

If you accept this offer, you will begin your internship with the organization on August 1st 2022 and will be expected to attend a mandatory 3-hour training session every Friday,Saturday or Sunday per week. You will be assigned tasks to do from Mondays to Thursdays depending on your availability. As an intern, you will be occasionally assigned tasks and responsibilities that match your skill sets and abilities within the organization and your department of placement. This internship is NOT paid but comes with benefits exclusive access to our individual development and knowledge tools database; possible placement in our talent pool for first consideration in the event a vacancy that matches your skills is open following a grant or project; and an opportunity to learn and grow professionally in a diverse and multicultural environment amongst others. Your internship is expected to end on December 23rd, 2022. However, your internship with the organization is “at-will,” which means that either you or the organization may terminate your internship at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. During your internship and in the course of your learning, you may have access to confidential information belonging to the organization. By accepting this offer of engagement, you acknowledge that you must keep all this information strictly confidential, and refrain from using it for your own purposes or from disclosing it to anyone outside the organization. In addition, you agree that, upon conclusion of your internship, you will immediately return to the organization all its property, equipment (laptops, smart phones etc.), and documents, including electronically stored information. This offer letter represents the full extent of the internship offer and supersedes any prior conversations about the position. Kindly revert via this mail with duly signed copy for documentation.
