Job Responsibilities
Responsible for operation and performance of modernized zero liquid discharge effluent treatment plant.
Effective manpower management and control in planning shift activities and allocating work for achieving monthly targets.
Planning to prevent process sequence problems.
Monitoring and controlling the process parameters and quality control and analyzing process for stabilization thereby ensuring smooth operation.
Monitoring routine maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment on regular basis for higher productivity and efficiency.
Check for any abnormalities and inform the concerned department.
Ensure an adequate supply of water for human consumption is maintained.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Keep a daily log.
Other duties as assigned.
Monitor control panels and adjust valves and gates.
Monitor flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures, and related controls through instrument panels, computer terminals, and programmable logic control units in assigned areas.
Monitor and record operating conditions observations and data in the area shift log
Verify and report suspected malfunctions and variances to the supervisor or designee and takes corrective actions. performs routine and preventative maintenance and other tasks as assigned.
Perform housekeeping as required.
Ability to work independently with limited direction.
Perform grab and go field tests to adjust process chemical dosages for the process.
Comply with appearance and dress policies to ensure a safe and professional work environment.
Wear personnel protective equipment (PPE) as defined by policy regulation, work practices, and customers.
Maintain all related readings and documentation.
Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
Communicates quickly and effectively on issues with systems and equipment to maintenance or manager. communicates effectively with other in-plant groups such as maintenance, production, project, and contractor personnel, and regulatory support personnel when necessary
Performs routine rounds of the plant, inspecting operations, collecting samples, noting observations that serve as a basis for operation
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Safely performs all work in accordance with safety practices and procedures
Performs preventative maintenance on plant and distribution systems equipment by areas as assigned by the water systems supervisor.
Keeps work and plant area clean.
Effectively interact with the maintenance team.
