Worked as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) programme, and helped strengthen English language learning among Japanese high school students. Worked with and assisted Japanese Teachers of English in lesson planning, curriculum and instructional materials development, and classroom management. Handled English Speaking Society (ESS) club where various fun and interesting speaking activities were conducted. Promoted internationalization among the Japanese by strengthening cultural exchange between Japan and the Philippines. Performed various classroom teaching roles such as English language teaching, assessing and evaluating student performances, student counselling, developing instructional materials and examination papers, researching, and training students for speech and writing contests. Served as an evaluator of several instructional materials produced by teachers in Tarlac City Schools Division, and rendered services as part of the technical working committee for various teacher trainings and schools contests in the Division and Regional levels. Attended several professional trainings and served as a school paper adviser. Taught different subjects including English, Filipino, Arts, Values Education, and Information and Communication Technology among high school students. Handled campus journalism as a school paper adviser, and trained students who competed in schools press conferences.
