Summary

A Medical Doctor and a Specialist trained in Kenyan Health Care system, with expertise in the management (both clinical and administrative) of Tropical Infectious Diseases, at the National and County level. I am particularly interested in maternal and child health with a Masters Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently am the CEO of CloudClinik Telehealth Limited kenya. I have worked with Bliss Healthcare Organization as thier Medical Superintendent and Business Development General Manager at Bliss Healthcare, the largest Outpatient Healthcare organisation in Kenya with over 90 facilities across the country, out of which over 15 with approximately 100 staff under my direct supervision. Specifically, my key responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Providing clinical leadership for multi-disciplinary departments 2. Providing clinical business leadership and acumen. 3. Ensuring sound standards of clinical practices are in place and implemented. 4. Championing evidence based practice across the clinical departments in collaboration with other Medical Centers to ensure clinical alignment and scope of practice. 5. Facilitating effective interface between the Clinical Services Division and other divisions to ensure quality patient care.

6. Spearheading the implementation of good clinical governance. 7. Championing the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical protocols by ensuring the use of standardized and consistent medical procedures/processes within the Medical Centers through continuous training of staff.

8. Overseeing quality assurance and ensuring medical health care has an integrated approach, systems and methods for pursuing continual improvement.

9. Promoting and establishing affiliations with other health care institutions for capacity building, benchmarking, and continuous improvement purposes.
