-June 1983: This was the placement year of my degree course where I was based in a military
Hospital Karachi Pakistan in the rank of
Captain to serve as a general Physician in the
emergency department of Persuasion. Duties
included treating all kinds of emergencies in
respect of Army personnel and their families
and referring them to concerned specialists
for their onward disposal. Apply
administrative tools for use within the
department. This position called upon many
skills I had learned as part of my degree and
tested my ability to put them into practice in a
real world situation.
July 1983: Served on Board Pakistan Navy Ship Karachi Pakistan
I was posted on Naval Ship PNS Tipu Sultan
as a Medical Officer in the rank of Surgeon Lt.
where it was my job to look after and take
care of all the Naval Personals both at shore
as well at sea. A highly demanding nature of
the job where I excelled as a true
professional working in hazardous
environment especially at sea. I feel this
position greatly enhanced my professional
and communication skills.

Highly responsible and demanding nature of
job. It kept me on my toes all the time.
Looked after and took care of all the Army
personals and their families located in the
Northern Areas of Pakistan. My work
expanded to take care of health matters of the
troops right uptill Siachen Glacier.
Worked as a team leader in a friendly
atmosphere keeping the morals high of all the
personals and staff worked under me in all
circumstances.

-September 1998 Retired from Pakistan Army. Started my Private Clinic in Karachi Pakistan
General Practice treating families and their
children on day to day basis.

General Physician and Specialist in
Underwater medicine. Performed 24 hrs
emergency duties in Military Hospital
according to the roster maintained by Armed
Forces Medical Services on regular basis

What do I do in my spare time?
I am a keen swimmer and a diver.
