EXPERIENCE
Medical Officer / Senior House Officer (EMERGENCY MEDICINE) - November 2019 - PRESENT
Hospital - District Headquarter Hospital, Nankana Sahib It is a 450 bed hospital. It is a multidisciplinary hospital with all the required equipment machinery.
● In Emergency Departments, Doctor works in three shifts: morning, evening and night. In each shift, the number of patients is approximately 40 to 50 but varies in different situations. It also has 7 to 8 extra duties per month.
● I covered emergency medicine duties. My job was full time, regular and residential.
● My job involved history taking, physical examination, planning investigations under senior supervision.
● Along with my senior staff, I have managed patients of Decompensated cirrhosis of liver, ESRD, Congestive Heart Failure, IBD, Stroke, Meningitis, Ulcerative colitis, Gastroenteritis, Gastritis, Anxiety. I am very good at Pediatric Cannulation. I have been a part of Pediatric Resuscitation Team.
● Working in the respective Emergency weeks we as a team managed many life- threatening emergency situations like; Pneumothorax, Cardiac tamponade, Anaphylaxis, Acute Coronary syndrome, Congestive heart failure, patients on Hemodialysis with complication, liver cirrhosis and its complications, Many upper and lower respiratory tract problems.
● Performed procedures like IV Cannulation, Foleys Catheterization, Lumbar Puncture, NG Intubation, Endotracheal Intubation.
