I was a manager at the Smokey Mountain Pik Quik Deli/convenience store. I loved being a manager. I took a deli from losing money to a great place to eat and profits. Within two months of taking over. I had to hire and fire. I had to order inventory and take inventory every week . That sounds like alot. Hard working, honest employees are hard to find. I have been working from home last couple of years. I have been doing Digital Retouching Pictures for color labs I have worked for in past years. Like anything, work gets slow certain times of the year. First of school year and end of school year is the busiest times for that kind work. Alot of photographers do digital retouch their self now days. It's something I like to do. I love to cook also. Make my own recipes, wrote my own cookbook I share with family and friends. I'm really self motivated. I throw myself into my work, workaholic. I learn quick, easy to get a long with, problem solver, action speaks louder than words type, and a people person. I am a believer of God and the Lord Jesus. I don't throw my relgion on people at no time. I do believe that as human beings, weather u believe or not, have 10 laws to live by. I know my Ethics and was raised with manners. I enforce them with my family. I will enforce them with other employee's. As well as safety. While working at Peyton's I was on the B-SAFE team. Make sure everyone in warehouse was doing their jobs safely.

Comment: I worked alone. I cleaned store, checked products in, put away stock, x'ed out registers, ending day paperwork and setup for 1st shift. Was on call 24/7. Sherry Hill, my manager, could depend on me. I never let her down. I worked for the last 2 yrs. working there doing manager duties. Without title or pay.

Comment: I worked as a cashier about a year after being employeed there. The deli manager got fired. Wes Prichard owner of the store asked could anyone do basic math. I said yes sir. He made me deli manager. I turned the deli around in 1996 Olympics we had a gas contract. They white water raft down the Ocoee River. That was a busy year made alot of money and bonus that I shared with my employees. It takes team work and great people to make a store great. The lease was up and Wes had cancer.

Comment: That was a hard job. It was like aerobics for 12 hours a day. Made alot of money. Lost alot of weight. My marrige was falling apart. Had a young son that needed me cause his life was falling apart too.
