Career High lights
Selected as College Representative Hostess at selected Business Seminars. Elected as one of five seniors to manage and organise the Seniors Farewell Functions
At Artone Press I was responsible for the planning of their open day and taking charge of it, my responsibilities being the Marketing strategy, designing of all products to showcase our Company and machines. As well as create a theme for the day that would incorporate the Company. The day was a huge success and I received personal thanks from the Managing Directors and Managers.
I was also asked by the Managing Director to write a couple of articles that were published in the Caxton Magazine, to which my personal photo was affixed. Other designing jobs I was given varied from company Mergers to managing director’s retirements – I was also selected on a yearly basis to design the Company’s stationery and Calendar. I Played a major part in the necessary adverts and marketing products for the company
I was requested by clients for assistance in the marketing of their products and/or design of a product for a specific market. My clients were for example to mention but a few: - Universal Music, Select Music, Sony BMG, Coleske, and Nu-Metro. And the products that were designed by me were: -DVD’s, CD’s, Magazines, Flyers, Banners, Posters, Calendars, Point of Sale Products and Standees.
At Rainbow Scan, I got the job to design the Crawford Fourways yearly magazine. I felt very honored to be receiving this, as per the headmaster at the time, (SA Print College) said I had loads of experience, this was my first design after I received my diploma in graphic design.
