PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Executive Director

JEWISH UNION FOUNDATION 2010-2022

Oversaw two separate 501c3 organizations, one in NY and one in NJ.

Services provided for the Developmentally Disabled population include Day Habilitation, Vocational Services, Supported Employment, Respite Services, Community Habilitation and Medicaid Service Coordination.

Consistently maintained financial stability throughout leadership tenue.

Effectively worked with two separate Board of Directors (NY & NJ) to negotiate and obtain necessary funding and resources for the organization.

Received state funding, but also secured additional funding through various successful fundraising events and grants.

Provided the necessary job and social skill sets for individuals to find competitive employment through the creation of an e-commerce business, resulting in a high number of individuals being gainfully employed.

Supported over 125 individuals between the two programs.

Community involvement, including maintaining good relations with existing communities working with us and scoping out new communities to get involved and support our organization.

Oversaw our Human Resources team

Developed a solid relationship with the parent organization (The Orthodox Union) where one did not exist before.

Researched expansion options (strategically driven) and eventually (largely through community outreach) expanded our Brooklyn program to include a large-scale program in the affluent Five Towns area of Long Island

IVDU (school for the developmentally disabled) 2015-2020

Significant expansion, IVDU grew from 50 students over 3 divisions in 2015, to 135 students in 4 divisions in 2020.

Revenue increased from 2 million to 9 million.

School began a Regents program with 95% of students passing.

School began STEM programming to make students competitive, capable of learning and obtaining future jobs which also enhanced their confidence in themselves and supported the community.

100% of students graduated with many having jobs lined up upon graduation.

In addition to managing the administrative staff, oversaw the related service providers, including Social Workers, Speech Therapists, counseling, PT and OT providers.

Sr. Marketing & Sales Director

INVICTA/ZAGER WATCHES New York, NY 2003-2010

Launched both the B2B retail and Internet division’s entry into the watch business; sales in watches were 1 million dollars in the first year and were 4 million by the third year.

Handled HR functions, including hiring and setting policies.
