•Initiated lighting audits in five of seven facilities, secured approval for lighting upgrade in Winston-Salem, NC which will reduce office lighting energy costs by 56%. Secured approval for lighting upgrade in Rural Hall, NC which reduced total lighting energy costs by 65%.

•Initiated Boiler audits in two manufacturing facilities. Also have responsibility for standardizing a recycling program among seven facilities.

•Initiated division wide education relative to optimization of compressed air systems and secured the purchase of three ultrasonic air leak detectors to be used throughout the division.

•Provided divisional oversight for successful multisite execution and launch of a $3,000,000 seasonal project for Wal-Mart - 6,510 full pallets and 4,328 half pallets produced in Iowa, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

•Responsibility for relationship with PepsiCo's sustainability group and hosted PepsiCo Recon in Winston Salem Plant in Q3 2011.

•Managed the start-up and launch of a single customer fulfillment facility in Monterrey, Mexico. Responsibilities included all aspects of managing a manufacturing facility including the oversight of 11 direct reports, 10 indirect reports, and up to 50 temporary staffing.

•Other responsibilities included finance, cost, staffing, budgeting, safety, corporate and customer reporting, overall project quality, adherence to launch deadline, business development and development of new staff.

•More specific responsibilities included direct interface with Polish counterparts, Danish customer representatives, and English management and sales. Also held responsibility for building relationship with second customer operation in Monterrey as well as relationship with customer's US based customer service.

•Projected revenue for 2010 was $230,000 - actual revenue through June 30 was $342,000. I left

Mexico in July due to security concerns.

•Also held primary responsibility for construction, start-up, and launch of a P&G fulfillment facility in Manaus, Brazil in 2011

Also included were scheduling and staffing input, adherence to company policies among all subordinates, training, discipline, performance, hiring and termination. • More specific responsibilities included participating in and support of a plant wide 6S initiative. • Employed lean concepts on the production floor, eliminated waste, and drove other initiatives/ concepts/changes to measurably contribute to the productivity savings goal for the facility.
