PROFILE:
Retired RN from Advocate Aurora Healthcare in 2009. I serve in many areas of the medical nursing fields, over the years as; hospital staff nurse, clinic nurse, physicians office nurse, Nurse Paralegal and Coordinator of 2 hospital based programs throughout my nursing career.
EXPERIENCE:
My most recent employment was with Shepherds College in Union Grove, WI. as a Horticultural Para-professional in the classroom and greenhouse with plantings and sales.
Prior to that, I employed position’s with Advocate Aurora Healthcare in Racine, Burlington, and Kenosha, WI hospitals, where as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and later as the Coordinator of the SANE program at those hospitals. I was responsible for the coordination of scheduling of other SANE nurses, continue to do forensic exams on S.A victims, present staff teachings and provide testimony to representing attorneys for their prosecution of the perpetrators. My tenure ran from approximately from 2001 through 2006.
I was also employed as the Coordinator of Senior Resource Nurse Program from 2006-2009, In this position, I assisted physicians with providing outside services to their patients. This included, durable goods procurement; such as wheelchairs, walkers, financial medication assistance with pharmaceutical companies, assisted with assisted living or nursing home placement. I continued followed up with patients and their medical documentation for Living Wills. I also coordinated and presented inservice programs for the general public and supporting medical staff.

SKILLS
Organization and documentation, completion of projects in a timely manner, self-motivated and works independently, computer skills on Apple computers, with limited Microsoft training, promoted patient confidentiality, obtain specimens and directed them to the appropriate law enforcement services, interface with clients and families to provide appropriate care to patients, problem solving skills, strong communication and able to multi-task on projects.
