As a line cook I was responsible as setting up and stocking food items along as the other necessary supplies. I also prepared food items by cutting, chopping, mixing and preparing sauces. As the cook in charge of pasta I was also charged with portioning and cooking/grilling the items used in the many types of pasta.

Apprentice, Alliance Fire Protection, Tempe, Arizona — 2018-2020

As an apprentice in the union local 669 I was required to learn hands on and in the classroom. For Alliance it was fire sprinklers, therefore I was required to learn all the components of the piping/ measurements as a new apprentice. During my apprenticeship I learned a lot about schedule 40 and the types of piping used. I was also trained to use heavy machinery such as scissor lifts and boom lifts. etc.

Tile laborer, Aguilar Tile & Stone, Phoenix, Arizona. — 2020-2022

This was a family owned business, therefore I worked with my uncle Tony, as his apprentice, I was responsible for installing hard tiles, marble, and back splashes, as well as shower remodels. I cut tiles using several different hand tools, including wet saws and handheld tile cutters. I was then responsible for mixing mortar and placing the tile on the mortar ensuring precision, clean edges and straight lines. I had great physical strength and stamina for for this position in order to lift the heavy materials and tools.
