Dear Hiring Manager,

Thank you for taking the time to review my resume.

Originally furloughed due to COVID 19, then informed my job would not return, which allows me the opportunity to explore other fields. I have been doing contract work ever since the pandemic. Please begin reviewing the bottom of my resume as opposed to the top. I am very loyal and dependable.

My career has been in healthcare for the past 28 years. The first 12 years were in distribution with the remaining 16 years in the GPO or Group Purchasing arena. During my career, I worked with physicians, office administrators, patients, as well as a variety of vendors. My primary role with the GPO was as Account Manager then promoted to Strategic account manager. In this role, I developed and maintained relationships with high-volume customers.

My duties included utilizing Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point while getting familiar with the practice and the day-to-day requirements of providing concierge services. Implementing contracts and educated members on the terms and conditions required to ensure pricing was linked correctly to the contract portfolio, allowing me to work closely with their preferred distributor. In doing so, I was able to confirm the customer was linked correctly in their system for the most aggressive cost affective contracts for their facilities. Spend analytics were required using internal tools and reporting which required a review of very large excel spreadsheets with multiple tabs and enormous amounts of data.

Working contract positions have allowed me to grow and learn other platforms and company protocols, however, I am looking for a company that I can call home.
