BIO
I am a general practice attorney admitted to practice law in Michigan. Prior to entering the practice of law, I worked as a radiopharmaceutical researcher in the PET lab at the University of Michigan. Before that I worked at Leeco Diagnostics developing and producing diagnostic tests. The summer before my senior in College I was an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Kenneth Turnbull at Grinnell College where I worked on synthesizing and characterizing derivatives of 2,4-di-t-butyl-6-methyl thiosulphanyl aniline.

Description: Predatory lenders are often unaware of state lending regulations including usury laws. Most lenders assume that federal banking law always preempts state lending regulations and are all but unaware of the exceptions. These exceptions can prove a lifesaver for the lender’s prey.
