Responsible for Order confirmation to Customer in the form of sales contract of pro-forma invoice received from the supplier.

Responsible for Custom Clearance for Scrap like HMS, Shredded, Stainless, High carbon etc at Ludhiana Ports for the Import Consignments .

Follow up with shipping line and concerned CHA for the issuance of delivery order from the shipping Line, follow up with the transporter regarding safe delivery of container to the unit and other related activities.

Responsible for the preparation of Cost sheets in case of Imports.

Payment of custom duty as per the Current tariff/notification.

Releasing the payments to the transporter as well as concerned CHA’S as per prevailing contract.(CHA = Custom house agent)

Reconciliation of Postdated accounts with the container corporation of India (CONCOR), Gateway rail freight Limited (GRFL) and other ports.

Liasoning with Custom authorities for smooth custom clearance.

Responsible for purchase of shipments on high seas sale basis.

Filing of E-way bill for the dispatch of the container to the unit.

Looking after all the activities related to export of the shipments to the foreign customer.

Looking after the incentives to be taken from DGFT.

C.Corporate Purchase & Projects Officer (Import in-charge ) at Vardhman Textiles Limited, Ludhiana & Vardhman Special Steels Limited (Jan 2011 to Feb 2019)

Responsibilities at work:-

Responsible for documents related to import consignment to the port offices for the timely clearance of the imported capital consignments.

Responsible for submission of documents related to refund of terminal excise duty to the corporate commercial department. All the required documents to be collected from the suppliers like ER-1/duty payment certificate, eBRC, Disclaimer certificate on Annexure-III, Annexure-II etc after releasing the final payment to the vendor.

At Vardhaman Special Steels Responsible for Monthly performance review with top management for all the ports .
