Job Coach Service

Greetings Everyone,

PWI was built on the premise that every person with a disability willing to work has the ABILITY to be an active part of the workforce and society. For over 35 years, PWI has provided supplemental services to individuals who want to work, seeking employment opportunities in San Diego County. We continue supporting individuals through all aspects of a job search by providing training, assistance with resume development, and ongoing coaching once employed. We are excited to announce to you, that soon, we will be able to provide you with more training and opportunities for employment

Effective July 1st, PWI will combine operations with Pride Industries, a leader in supporting people with disabilities find employment and lead more independent lives. Since 1966, they have assisted individuals in overcoming challenges with skills development, employment, and successful community integration.

Our collective vision will be “To be the socially responsible vendor of choice in the markets we serve, and to be the recognized leader in meeting the needs of individuals in overcoming barriers to employment.”

So, what does this mean for you?

For now, your job coach will remain the same and we will continue to conduct business as usual. If you are currently working at a job site in the community, then you will continue to work and receive job coaching. If you are not currently working and receiving support through alternative services you will continue receiving alternative services, but we want you to know that there will be new opportunities for employment.

Our existing staff will be joining Pride Industries and will continue to provide the excellent level of service and support our clients have come to expect. Our entire team is very excited about joining operations with Pride Industries in order to bring even more knowledge and resources to each individual that we proudly serve! We look forward to being able to combine our expertise and experience with the great people at Pride and become part of a larger and stronger team of dedicated support professionals.
