Joined FFBL in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer. I have Experience of four separate Industries- Fertilizer, Dairy, Meat and Coal power. I was number two in the company after the CEO and had a comprehensive portfolio. I was Involved in investment and establishment of over US Billion-dollar worth of projects. I have raised financing of over a Billion US dollars from local banks. I have experience of Dealing with JV partners, consultants, lawyers, Bankers, media (Print, TV). I have dealt with international industry professionals, supplier, consultants and investment and fund managers.

As a CFO, I have successfully managed the financial feasibility and project phase of Pakistan Maroc Phosphore, S.A (PMP), a joint venture between Fauji Group & OCP Group of Morocco. I was also extensively involved in various diversification projects of the company in the areas of Wind, Coal Power and Food Business. I have a wide range of experience of managing finances, corporate restructuring, Equity and Debt financing, budget and planning, tax planning, investor relations and audits.

I also played a leading role in the areas of corporate strategy and planning, business diversification, information technology (IT), operations, and human resources. I was Head of the Steering committee responsible for Complete IT infrastructure and comprehensive SAP ERP implementation Project. I have worked in Engro for 9 years in Finance & Planning, Plant Accounting & Finance, Internal Audit and Information Technology in various capacities in their Fertilizer business.

As part of Internal audit carried out compliance review in various areas of the organization including manufacturing, sales and marketing, supply chain, finance and accounting, human resources etc. Also carried out investigations in mismanagement and fraud cases. As in charge of Plant Accounting carried out all accounting and finance related activities at the plant site in Daharki. Provide support to plant management during CBA negotiations.

As part of Finance and Planning developed the budget for the company for approval from the BOD, Developed forecasts, financial models and evaluation on investments for BOD approvals. Prepared presentations for BOD. Prepared quarterly performance review of the company against budgets for stewardship meetings and the BOD.

As a special assignment carried out post project evaluation of Daharki Plant Expansion Project to determine if all the objectives of the project had been achieved in terms of energy efficiency, production capacity and project IRR and submit a report to the BOD.

As part of Information technology carried out a comprehensive proposal for implementation of a companywide ERP software implementation with a presentation to the senior management and then the BOD.
