TRAINING PROGRAM COORDINATION & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: As Training Technician, serve as organizational point of contact for inquiries concerning student management data and as principal office assistant performing a myriad of clerical and administrative duties, to include registrar focal point duties and performing office automation. Receives visitors and telephone calls. Directly assists the commander/registrar in the management of all administrative support program functions. Provides advice and guidance to staff in the organization on administrative, clerical, and procedural requirements. Establish, maintain, and manage multiple training database systems, to include the Technical Training Management System (TTMS), Military Modernization Personnel Data System (MILMOD), Training Planning System (TPS), and the 37 TRG (Training Group) spreadsheet. Serves as a unit liaison to the squadron and registrar offices. Receives incoming correspondence and screens the material prior to distribution. Authorized to reset PIN numbers to unblock CAC - Common Access Cards.

PERSONNEL SUPPORT & OFFICE AUTOMATION APPLICATION: Provide oversight to one subordinate training technician in support of approximately 185 personnel across Lackland Air Force Base. Identify and reconcile discrepancies in database systems and spreadsheets and recorded changes in status. Employ office automation software to produce program documents using a wide variety of formats. Review and process correspondence, program materials, and publications as well as organizational regulations and directives.

TRAINING POLICY EMPLOYMENT & CORRESPONDENCE MANAGEMENT: Employ practical knowledge of training policies and procedures and training management fundamentals in designing training charts and data for leadership briefings and for additional informational products.
