Human Resources Assignment Technician (This is a federal job) Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

Review all components of the Military Personnel Records Jacket (MPRJ) to assure completeness, currency of items such as medical examinations and efficiency ratings, and to identify any inconsistencies. Use Outlook email for communication between Companies, Battalions, Brigades and Civilian agencies. Account for records for all assigned/attached personnel in assigned units ensuring records are properly signed out/in maintaining accountability log. Receive and file appropriate documents in the MPRJ; screen, extract data and post to personm~I quarlfication records. Prepare insurance and beneficiary forms using eMILPO and make appropriate changes as necessary to include using eMILPO to update Soldier DA Forms 93 and SGLV. Perfonn a variety of duties in connection with the preparation, processing, and monitoring of requests for compassionate reassignments. Maintain files. Process assignment data and requests to include counseling Enlistees regarding options for changes in assignments. Type orders, to include reassignments, amendments, diversions, revocations, rescisions, and Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). Use Microsoft Office to prep~re a variety of materials correspondence, forms, statements, etc. in final form.
