Inventory Management Specialist Lead

Managed inventory levels to meet customer demand and reduce losses. Led and participated in inventory planning and strategies. Monitored inventory levels and restocked as needed. Inspected products and stock levels to spot potential problems.

Conducted extensive and exhaustive information searches to verify inventory stock levels and stock status as to recommend the procurement of specific supply items for current and projected inventory requirements. Ability to identify and determine causes for supply inventory deficiencies.

Facilitated and coordinated work among subordinate positions within the assigned organizational unit.

Provided a single point of contact for the industrial customer on a wide range of issues involving both DOD and non-DOD managded items.

Coordinated research and tracking of stock transfer orders replenishment actions.

Informed customers of new and existing DOD and non-DOD services and capabilities. Established material management policies and procedures and any anticipated changes.

Assists in the resolution of discrepancies and problems through coordination with the key storage and distribution personnel.

As the Lead Specialist I also trained and coached a team.

Experienced in analyzing and resolving difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility. Collecting and evaluating statistical data to improve business/customer support operations.

Utilized various systems to perform all daily tasks. Report issues to resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner.
