QUALIFICATIONS

• Perform echocardiography, ob/gyn; 1st, 2nd trimester, endovaginal, abdominal, small parts; thyroid, prostate, breasts and vascular; arterials, dvts, & carotid scanning.

• Ability to recognize pathologies, understanding of ultrasound physics, interaction with human tissues, image formation, Doppler, color flow, 2d & 3d scanning and instrumentation.

• Use of various ultrasound machines; Mindruy, Aloka ssD-140, Biosound ESAOTE AU3, ATL HDI 5000, Acuson Sequoia 512, Accuvix, Siemens, Phillips XD, Logiq 700, and Sonosite Micromaxx.

• Front office experience – scheduling, follow-up, electronic medical records data input & PACS system, EKGs, stress exams, blood pressures, plus application of pulse oximetry. Scanning patient paper records to electronic format, plus placing documents in proper file areas.

• Instruction of college students in various subjects of the DMS Program.

• Placement and management of students at various clinical sites .

• Interview prospective students for the DMS program

• Assist the Program Director in various areas
