The Patient Administration department provides oversight for patient accountability, patient affairs, medical records, and patient movement.
Patient Accountability - provide a variety of administrative services to service member at the hospital and its outlying clinics.
Medical Records - oversee copies of medical records, release of medical information, medical warning tags, civilian provider prescriptions for laboratory and radiology, and copies of immunization records for school enrollment. Also protecting our patients privacy when providing medical information to our customers (EX: HIPPA)
Patient Movement- having a sick, injured, wounded, or other person/soldier to obtain medical and/ or dental care or treatment. Functions include medical regulating, patient evacuation, and en route medical care.
Patient Affairs - work to improve, expand and sustain communication with patients and their community. Also help educate patients, patient advocates, and their healthcare professionals about medical product regulations.
