Position: Lead Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as the functional head of the HSE department with responsibility for the development and management of all company’s HSE activities relating to the application of the approved HSE management system and HSE procedures for all consolidated contractors group projects and facilities (including camps). Act as the interface with senior management and project management on matters of HSE to ensure relevance and importance of HSE management system requirements are fully understood and that the HSE programs are implemented and adhered to.
Develop, implement and administer HSE training and development programs, including the HSE curriculum, for the motivation of personnel and ensure that competent staffs are assigned for functional activities. Develop, co-ordinate and administer HSE leadership training for senior management to reinforce HSE awareness and maintaining of HSE management system and standards.
Develop, approve and monitor the implementation of the HSE management system and HSE structure to ensure a standardized approach on all projects and facilities. Develop and implement HSE awareness and HSE incentive programs for projects to motivate staff and increase HSE awareness.
Interface with senior management on issues related to HSE qualifications for potential and secured projects to ensure the HSE management system is implemented.
Conduct site audits and visits to all group projects and facilities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and HSE management system. Identify, rectify and follow-up on non- compliances and detected irregularities and make changes to procedures where needed. Identify HSE staff recruitment needs to meet current and future demands and make recommendations for employment.

Collate various site Health and Safety data for the purpose of creating Key Performance Indicators of subcontractor employees. Conducts site Safety patrols in order to prevent incidents, giving full support, through all stages of the project.
Design, supervised the installation relevant and appropriate site warning signages. Reports near misses and incident/accident to competent authority and lead incident/ accident investigation and reporting.
Provide meaningful statistic to management in a timely manner to assist in continue improvement of work place, health and safety environment and loss control Coordinate risk management function, assist with worker compensation program and return to work program.
