KEY RESPONSIBILITY IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the main functions of the role will be to liaise with Lead Project Managers during home office engineering phase of the project to ensure that projects construction requirements are met.

Liaise with Discipline Managers for timely submission of deliverables to clients.

Support Lead Project Managers in the evaluation of critical rating item list and in the preparation of the contract quality assurance plan.

Assist Lead Project Manager in evaluation of all Project plans, Risk plans and other project documents.

Managing changes to scope, cost and schedule of project work and know when to escalate problems/ issues to Lead Project manager.

Estimate the scope of work and liaise with the Fabrication Engineering Manager to ensure that Contractor supplied material is requisitioned in a timely manner to enable procurement in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule.

Direct, guide and coordinate in the execution to ensure effective execution and team work of construction personnel within all the construction operations.

Ensure that adequate numbers and categories of construction personnel are available, commensurate with workload and policy and within the approved budgets

Review performance against agreed objectives and take whatever action necessary to correct/improve the performance.

Participating in project review meetings for tracking project progress & de-bottlenecking.

Implementation of safety regulations for project activities.

Ensuring Look ahead is conveyed on timely basis and respective planning and control measures are put in place to achieve the targets.

Ensuring sufficient inventory levels are maintained to meet any unforeseen project requirements.

Liaise with fabrication personnel to ensure issue of engineering information and drawings are being issued in line with the construction schedule

Responsible for Mechanical Equipment: Mechanical Completion Certificate

Responsible for Mechanical Completion Check Record’s.

Responsible for timely delivery of material for offshore.

Responsible for area co-ordination with all departments, permit to work, Review of risk assessment, Mechanical completion and assistance to commissioning activity.

Review, and apply the contract specifications, project procedures, relevant codes and standards in the execution of project.

Oversight of all contractors’ fabrication and installation activities for successful completion of the work in accordance to the project schedule and contract.

Responsible for weekly progress report and monthly progress report.

Responsible for Mechanical Completions (MC) for piping and mechanical equipment and involvement in producing following documents by using WIN PCS as completion tool.

Manhrs control and regular check of available work front.
