Summary
A focused individual with core skills in communication, management, human services and tech. I have Experience working in environments such as an office setting, at a front desk, or traveling for work which has given me a well rounded ability to adapt to different working environments and has provided me with the necessary skills. I have a good working knowledge base of microsoft office tools such as, powerpoint, excel and word. Data entry and the utilization of specialized software programs is something I am very familiar with. Working in various team settings has allowed me to understand the importance of productivity and meeting deadlines. Management skills have been critical to me in running my own business as well as managing large caseloads and organizing the various team members who are involved. Customer service in person, over the phone and through email is very important to me and maintaining a high level of professionalism is something I take pride in. I took a break from working for close to 2 years during covid to focus on health, family and continuing education, but now I look forward to getting back out there and joining a team who is focused on positivity, productivity and professionalism. Owner/Manager -Private Minneapolis based supportive housing program providing stable housing to multiple low income families
● Conduct intake appointments for new participants.
● Manage all aspects of the program such as establishing and maintaining leases, adjusting rents, dealing with tenant disputes, and managing payments and invoices.
● Coordinate all property maintenance, repairs and contracting projects.
● Work with other public and private agencies to provide resources for tenants experiencing issues such as job loss and other economic hardships.

Program Coordinator/Case Manager for the Minneapolis Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing Program
(VASH).-Minneapolis Public Housing Authority.
● Worked for the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA) Section 8 program, in connection with Minneapolis Veterans Affairs (VA), to help fight veteran homelessness through helping vets find and maintain stable supportive housing.
● Conducted briefing presentations for all Minneapolis VASH participants as well as port in VASH participants coming from out of state.
● Worked in the VA homeless drop in shelter conducting intake appointments, determined eligibility, conducted housing searches, program recertification, organized program violation hearings and program terminations for a caseload of roughly 300 Veterans.
● Worked with various federal, state and city programs providing resources to veterans experiencing chronic homelessness.
● Worked directly with supportive housing agencies, landlords and building managers on multiple aspects such as, leases, inspections, program violations, payments, and program recertifications.
● Conducted home visits for disabled veterans and worked directly with multiple social service workers in maintaining stable housing for veterans who have a history of chronic homelessness.
● Performed street outreach work connecting homeless veterans with various available resources.
● Created and maintained spreadsheets for the VASH program in order to review statistics with program analysts from the Minneapolis PHA and the Minneapolis VA, to improve upon program integrity while meeting all requirements and deadlines set by the U.S. Department Of Housing And Urban Development (HUD). Also managed a caseload of roughly 250 non elderly disabled families participating in the Minneapolis Housing Choice Voucher Program.
● Conducted eligibility appointments with potential program participants and performed annual recertification for active participants . Calculated rent subsidies and made interim adjustments to tenant portions based on variables such as income and or family composition changes.
● Conducted home visit appointments for disabled participants and worked closely with social workers in maintaining stable housing for the participant and his or her family.
● Helped families with housing searches and worked directly with landlords, managers and owners on various aspects of the program such as inspections, leases, payments, move outs, terminations, program violations and more.
