I am a driven team player looking to return the medical career field. Patient care in all aspects is my passion. I am naturally gifted when it comes to taking care of patients. Being part of the healing process for patients brings me great joy. Building rapport with the patient is a tremendous asset in all aspects of their care. Crucial tasks like taking vital signs or communicating with the patient to get their medical history may be simple, but you can gain a wealth of knowledge about the patient while doing the little things. I use my interpersonal skills to get the patients to provide full disclosure about what medical issues are troubling them. Being able to comfort patients while drawing their blood or preparing them for same day surgery allows them to relax and makes all procedures go smoother. Recently, I have not been actively working in a typical clinical setting, but I have been providing patient care and hospice care to three patients for almost five years. Patient comfort and wellbeing are my personal mission. Seeing the benefits of patient care as the patient moves through the recovery process fulfills me. In this COVID environment, compassion along with proper treatment is critical. I am eager to rejoin the medical team and start using my gifts to aid all patients who come our way.
