Accurate monitoring of power system operation has become one of the most important functions in today's deregulated power markets.

State estimators are the essential tools of choice in the implementation of this function.

Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a computational method that optimizes a problem by iteratively.

This project was based on the me-asurement of Jacobian and sparse triangular factorization in its numerical part and based on particle swarm optimisation in the decision making part.

It would facilitates the cost of meters should be minimised.

The project was undertaken as a curriculum of M.E (Phase –II).

Description:

The main idea for developing this project for providing and efficient simple method for the control of speed of dc motor using RF wireless speed control of dc motor.

Among the various wireless technologies we are chosen RF because it has very long range. Four switches are provided at the transmitter end to control the speed of dc motor which is connected to receiver side.

After completion of the project it was interpreted that the algorithm and proposed topology has better efficiency and time consumption of speed control.This application is mainly used in the industries are using RF solutions monitoring, process, control, wireless remote control etc.

This project would facilitate industrial applications reliable and easy to operate.

Participated in the faculty development programme on software tools simulation and analysis of Power system organized by IEEE Madras section at Kalasalingam University - Madurai.

Participated in the orientation of awareness camp on Renewable energy sources sponsored by Tamilnadu Energy development agency (TEDA)- Chennai, at Angel college of technology-Tirupur.
