Communication

Developed interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues at work and university.

Have gained leadership through mentoring newly employed individuals at work.

Very patient and positive in scenarios that can be frustrating.

Organisation

Being able to balance a part-time job while still achieving good grades at university with additional recreational activities on the weekend.

Effective planner during work assignments, ensuring that deadlines are always met.

Help arrange university social events for fresher students.

Work Ethic

Fast learner when it comes to learning new routines and computer software.

Committed to staying focused, ensuring a quality result.

Determined to finish off what was first started, especially during assignment projects.

Technical Skills

Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Engineering Software Programs (i.e. Petrel, Eclipse, HYSYS, AutoCAD, etc.)

HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY (HWU) SEPT 2018 – AUG 2020

MSC: Petroleum Engineering – Pass

Key Modules:

Reservoir Engineering, Reservoir Simulation, Well Testing Analysis, Formation Evaluation Petroleum Geoscience, Petroleum Economics, Drilling Engineering, and Production Tech.

Skills Gained:

Knowledge of Drilling and Exploration, Petroleum Geology, Geo-Mechanics, Reservoir, Pipeline Design, Field Development Planning, etc.

Use of different simulations to forecast production rates and to distinguish geology properties.

The placement of production and injection wells to reach the optimum production rate.

The importance of EOR methods and utilising each of them in the most effective way possible.

The origin of Hydrocarbons and analysis of reservoir structures using geological methods.

LONDON SOUTH BANK UNIVERSITY (LSBU) SEPT 2015 – AUG 2018

BENG (Hons): Petroleum Engineering – 2:1

Key Modules: Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, Geoscience, and Well Drilling and Logging.

PROCAT COLLEGE SEPT 2013 – JUL 2015

B-Tec Level 3 Extended Diploma: General Engineering – A*A*A

GABLEHALL SCHOOL SEPT 2008 – JUL 2013

5 GCSE’s A*-D Including Maths (B)

2 B-Tec A*-A Including Science (A*)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

SELF TAUGHT ONLINE LEARNING OCT 2020 – PRESENT

While looking for Graduate Schemes and temporary work, I have partaken in online courses to refresh and expand my knowledge of different software-based programs via LinkedIn Learning. During this period, I have refreshed my skills with AutoCAD and Eclipse while also learning new skills in coding using Python, JavaScript, and C++.

EXPERIENCE

GENERAL RETAIL ASSISTANT ICELAND FOODS SEPT 2016 – JAN 2020

The main objective of my role was to ensure that the customer's satisfaction was met. This would consist of serving customers on the till (cashier), replenishing the stock on the shop floor, breaking down stock from the delivery, and cashing up income from the tills at the end of the shift. While working for Iceland Foods, I have gained and improved many skills such as time management, teamwork, communication skills, composure, and leadership.

Breaking down delivery stock quickly and effectively meant that the back stock was fully replenished within the first couple of hours during the shift, which made sure that all stock on the shop floor remained on sale throughout.

Tutoring new employees on shift meant they would get taught more productively, allowing the ability for them to learn, while serving customers at one time.

HELPLINE ADVISOR VENTRICA APR 2021 – JAN 2022

My role at Ventrica is to get in contact with individuals within Public Health. I have the duty of ensuring that the individuals I am talking to are following the correct procedures and remain in good health throughout. While working here, I have gained: new forms of communication skills, leadership, confidence, patience, and diligence.

Always making an effort to reduce my wrap-up time between calls; doing so has increased the company's calls per agent; now ranked Top 10 in the UK.

Each call I make is handled with care and with a high level of professionalism, where most clients I speak to are very satisfied with the service they receive during the call; further improving the customer service ratings for the company

During the shift, I attend to those who require assistance, therefore meaning they did not have to wait for assistance from another group chat, creating a more productive working environment.

PROJECTS

PETROLEUM ENGINEERING DESIGN PROJECT LSBU

The group project consists of 4 main phases.

Phase 1: Simulation of offshore production facility meeting O&G exporting conditions.

Phase 2: In-depth analysis of a surface facility used in the simulation (i.e. CAPEX, OPEX, Production rates, etc.)

Phase 3: Geological analysis of reservoir field (Rock-type, Stratigraphy, Faults, etc.)

Phase 4: Reservoir simulation employing different EOR methods to get achieve the reservoir’s maximum potential (i.e STOIIP, NTG, Porosity and Permeability, etc.)

FIELD DEVELOPMENT PLAN HWU

The goal of this project was to give the optimum technological solution as well as a guide to help enhance the development and production of the field.

The aspects involved are Geoscience, Petrophysics, Reservoir Simulation and Modelling, Drilling, Economics, Production Technology, and commercial analysis.

RESERVOIR BEST SUITED FOR CO2 DISPOSAL HWU

This study was put together to establish the reservoir type best suited for CO2 disposal.

This study consisted of a literature review about CO2, carbon capturing and their methods, the behaviour of CO2 under different PVT conditions, reservoir types and geological fundamentals.

Each of the reservoir types was evaluated based on: Capacity, Data Quality, Re-use of wells, Platform location (Onshore or Offshore), and Heterogeneity; to find the best type for disposal.
