JOB DESCRIPTION
Keeping History Files of all running equipment and auxiliaries of
the power plant.
Conduct periodic survey of all units and equipment.
Initiate preventive maintenance work schedule on all equipment in operation.
Check and evaluate equipment spare parts during overhaul and repair in line
with the manufactures specification in relation to alignment and tolerances of
working parts.
Prepare shutdown and PMS activities of major equipment.
Prepare sketches and drawings of equipment minor spare parts and initiate work order to Machine Shop Department for fabrication and machining job.
Handle preparation of materials and spare parts needed for shutdown of equipment and based on scheduled PMS and unscheduled repair with the coordination of the Ordering & Logistic Section.
Handle predictive services of all power plant equipment like vibration monitoring and lube oil servicing.
Prepare monthly reports on the status of equipment and its associated auxiliaries and handover to the Plant General Superintendent for acknowledgment and recommendation for shutdown of units.
Prepare shutdown and PMS activities of major equipment and its associated auxiliaries.

Reporting to Control Room Supervisor and Shift Charge Engineer.
Start-up and commissioning of boilers and its associated auxiliaries.
Control and monitor for the safe and efficient operation of Boilers and its associated auxiliaries.
Monitor the supply of coal to bunkers and advised field operator to monitor closely the quality of coal in order to attain smooth and efficient supply to boilers.
Coordinate with PTW (Permit To Work) Coordinator for any equipment to be done by maintenance personnel in order to attain a accident free environment and protection of equipment and safety of personnel working in the plant.
Issue of Safe Works Permits (SWP) to concerned section during corrective works to ensure
the of personnel and coordinate their activities.
Maintain harmonious relation and camaraderie with all staffs working in the CCR (Central Control Room)) as well as outside field personnel in order to attain a successful, efficient and risk free environment. of a power plant.
